All feedback is significant, but in truth, without hearing the less favorable details of a guest’s experience, it can be difficult to pinpoint our shortcomings, and in turn, correct them. Apologies aside for now, I’d like to touch on some of the specifics in your Trip Advisor review, but first let me add that we appreciate you taking the time to write one. It’s our number one goal to impress every guest and see that they leave happy, and it’s very disappointing to here that this was not the case with you and your group. Unfortunately it's not.īblunty, I’m sorry to hear about the miscues during your experience at Mutiny. It's location does not help it but that could be overlooked if the food and service was amazing. Overall this place needs some major work on the atmosphere and food. The only entree that got a good rating at the table was a hamburger. The entrees were no better, the fish tacos were dry and flavorless. The mussels were pretty good, not too tough with good flavor. Someone at the table actually joked and said they should have just given us a bag of chips. The nachos were very bad, almost no cheese or toppings. We got the nachos and mussels for appetizer. The bar top is rough cut lumber which is very cool and they serve tons of rum.I didn't count but I'd say it's over 100 rums. It's a small deck with no views, actually a view of someone's house.they were outside grilling and peered at us as we ate. Since the inside was literally as dark as a dungeon and it was nice out we sat outside. There was silverware being rolled in plain site right as you walk in as well. There is a musty odor and the place is very dark. Initial impressions walking into the restaurant are bad. I had never heard of it and didn't read the reviews. Tried this restaurant out of pure curiosity. Please send me your home address so that I can put a dining certificate in the mail for you Regards, Kevin Jones General Manager Third, I assure you that your experience is not the norm and I would like to make it up to you. So, I again apologize if the food was not to your liking. Our other reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp include tons of testimonials that highlight this claim. We make everything from scratch and take pride in this process. Second, I assure you that our food is normally prepared with the utmost care. They rented a DJ, asked that the lights be turned down and brought enough people to nearly meet our capacity. ![]() These were all requests of the Bride and Groom celebrating that evening. First, I assure you the restaurant is not normally that crowded, dark, or loud. I do apologize about the confusion here, but I did want to give you some assurances in the hopes you might give us another try. After doing some digging, I found out that your server thought you were here for the wedding reception. We communicated that Mutiny would be closed to the public on this date via our website, facebook, email list serve, front sign and front door. This night in question was a bit out of the ordinary, as we did have a private, closed to the public, wedding reception. Jamison, I am sorry to hear, but very thankful for your review. Bright spot: The waitress was lovely and genuinely tried to be helpful. Our food to more than 40 minutes to arrive (remember when I said we were starving?). Our appetizer was delivered to the table next to us we got to watch them eat it. This is long I'll speed through the rest. We decided to stay, ordered our food, and settled in to wait for our food. We were just about to get up and leave when the waitress came for our order. ![]() As we looked over the menu the cacophony became overwhelming. Once we were seated we asked if, with all the noise and confusion, it was a good idea to stay. Since the hostess want expecting anyone new, it was five minutes before we were when acknowledged. However when we got inside it turned out there was a private event going on-something this establishment isn't equiped for. ![]() Upon arriving there were many cars in the lot-I took this to be a good sign. I assured my wife that Mutany was good enough to do the fit the bill and we made our way there. We were in Millersville and wanted something good to eat. That said, Glen Burnie isn't known for its fine dining establishments, so, even at high-side-of-average, Mutany is a bit of a stand out. The first four times were okay, the fifth time was a total bust (I'll get back to this.) The food at Mutany is fairly creative and decently prepared.
